1 Account Creation and User Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Keep your password secure and not share it
• Notify LeagueLinkd immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct harmful to other users.

You may request deletion of your account by contacting [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days. Upon deletion, your personal information and any associated player profiles will be permanently removed from our systems, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business necessity (such as transaction records).

2 Privacy and Data Collection

LeagueLinkd collects personal information necessary to provide platform services. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Account information: name, email address, phone number, and physical address
• Player information: player names, dates of birth, profile photos, and emergency contact details
• League activity data: team assignments, event schedules, RSVP responses, and attendance records
• Game and performance data: goals, assists, minutes played, disciplinary cards, and other in-game statistics recorded by coaches
• Communications: messages sent through in-app chat, photos and media shared on the platform
• Payment information: transaction records processed through our payment provider (we do not store full payment card details)

By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of this information as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The platform is intended for adults managing youth sports activities. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

• We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13
• Player profiles for minors are created and managed solely by a parent or guardian
• Guardians are responsible for the accuracy of minor player information
• Performance and game data recorded for minor players is accessible only to authorized users within the same league organization
• Guardians may request deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting [email protected]. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days
• We will not sell or share minor player data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes

User data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We employ reasonable technical measures to protect your data; however, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

LeagueLinkd does not sell personal information. We may share data with:

• The league and parent organization through which you access the platform, including administrators with organization-level access
• Service providers who assist in operating the platform
• Law enforcement when required by applicable law

3 Photo and Media Usage

By uploading content, you grant LeagueLinkd a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and store that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

Guardians who upload photos of minor players warrant they have the legal right to share those images. LeagueLinkd will not use images of minors for marketing or promotional purposes without express written consent.

You agree not to upload content that:

• Violates any applicable law
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Contains nudity, graphic violence, or inappropriate material
• Depicts or promotes harassment, discrimination, or abuse

4 Payment and Refund Policy

Certain features, including league registration, may require payment. All fees are displayed prior to purchase. By completing a payment, you authorize the applicable charge to your selected payment method.

Registration fees collected on behalf of a league are subject to that league's refund policy. LeagueLinkd acts as a payment facilitator and is not responsible for issuing refunds of league registration fees. Contact your league administrator for registration refund requests.

All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. LeagueLinkd does not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

5 Code of Conduct and Acceptable Use

All users are expected to conduct themselves respectfully. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate any other user
• Post offensive, abusive, or discriminatory content
• Impersonate another person
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt unauthorized access to any account or system
• Interfere with or disrupt platform performance

Platform messaging features are provided for legitimate league communication. Sending spam, unsolicited messages, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination.

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in account suspension or termination, content removal, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

6 Limitation of Liability

LeagueLinkd is a software platform for league management. It does not organize or supervise physical sporting activities and is not liable for any injuries or incidents that occur during league activities.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LeagueLinkd LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims arising out of your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

7 Intellectual Property

The LeagueLinkd name, logo, platform design, and all content created by LeagueLinkd are the exclusive property of LeagueLinkd LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8 Modifications to These Terms

LeagueLinkd reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via the app or email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9 Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform, you and LeagueLinkd agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiation for a period of not less than thirty (30) days following written notice of the dispute to [email protected].

If good faith negotiation does not resolve the dispute, the parties agree to submit the dispute to mediation administered by a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Salt Lake County, Utah. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally by the parties.

If mediation is unsuccessful within sixty (60) days, any remaining dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Salt Lake County, Utah, in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding, and judgment upon the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.

Nothing in this Section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm, including but not limited to protection of intellectual property rights or confidential information.
